Ditto, I've wanted to get my front bumper done since the day I bought the car, but I'm worried that a) it won't match and b) it will show up the chips on the leading edge of bonnet and wings even worse than now

I've booked mine in to be done in a weeks time to have the stonechips done on the front bumper and am having the same worries, thinking now i should get the bonnet and front of the wings done as well. Even though I've used them once before on a previous car and they were excellent I'm still really worried about a perfect colour match though...

not yet. I'm not doing it, I've got a guy doing the for. He said it took ages to get the bumper off. Apparently the BOSE system gets in the way too.

Have you married up the bumper to the body to check how close it matches up?

First post for me, brilliant thread of interest to me as well, I have a 2003 B6, owned it for 4 years, well looked after washed and hand waxed etc during my ownership. I don't believe it has had any paint during it's life. All stone chips 'immediately' touched up and regular check made for any more. However it is clear that corrosion is setting in all around from the underneath lip of both front arches, underneath the paint (which will spread round and up the wings).

I have now noticed several pin pricks of rust appearing to come from the rear of the panel on the lower sections of both drivers doors and in identical places on the panel between the wheel and rear passenger doors. This is my 3rd Audi and clearly the worst for rusting (and the best cared for!). Poor show. I have 'googled' the problem and it appears wide spread. Don't think Audi will have any sympathy unless someone knows otherwise. Dissapointed is probably the word. Feel like Audi is following Mercedes Benz down the path of shoddy quality over the recent years!

May follow your lead and contact a body Shop for advice whether 'nipping in the bud' is appropriate or I'm 'flogging a dead horse' and like Merc the rest will follow!!!

Speaking as a northener I feel it's OK for me to rant about this, but why do northerners insist on saying "dint" or "dinted", it's a dent, why change it? ;)
