It was the 20k service from that link, which Audi want to charge me almost £900 for  !

If I had the time, I would do all of these things myself. Although not an 'expert' mechanic (wouldn't even think about the cam-belt service myself) changing plugs, filters, oil (and screenwash) would be something I would be cofortable in attempting... but just don't have the time at the moment :boohoo: so I'll get somebody to do it fo me.

MRC are also convenietly close to where my In-Laws live, so could earn some brownie points by visiting on the way through.

Will also get it booked in for a healthcheck at the same time.

Gearbox oil change was done at Unit 20 a couple of years (and about 20k miles) ago. What is the general concensus for getting regular oil changes... and if so... how regularly?
No track-day racing, just the usual safe overtaking on A roads and some normal B road spirited driving when conditions allow

My stealer told me spark plugs weren't included in a 20k service and would be an extra 200 odd quid!! Robbing bar stewards. Is this just Qst that change them in the price or is it more stealer BS? Also shucks it Qst only change air filter at 40k? Is this not done at 20k?
