AUDI RS6 C6 quarter mile times

I managed 0-60 mph in 3.7 and 11.9 quarter with a strong head wind .

Hi Fellow tragics,

Best time for the night for the quarter mile was 11.43 secs with terminal speed of 125.8 mph / 202.56 km/hr.
0-100mph of 7.5 secs not too shabby.

This was a tuning night, so you took off whenever you felt like it after xmas tree went green.

The beast ran consistently in the 11.4 secs. Running on street tires. Can only better this time to low 11 secs if improve launch time of 0-60ft and can bring it down to 1.5 secs from 1.9 secs. Maybe have to run semi slicks, but a bit too much trouble as the C6 RS6 is not really a dragster. So ends my quarter mile episodes for now.Will revert to local Jag club track days at Wanneroo raceway.

A few people came up wondering what the beast was. Not unexpected as the only C6 RS6 sedan in Western Australia.

The Audi banner flew high.

To get under low elevens into the high tens, you have to get into the 780+bhp range, so need to go to bigger injectors, inlet manifold, fuel pump and exhausts and tuning away from standard tune to suit.

The fastest C6 RS6 quarter mile I have heard of, courtesy of Tomasz, is 10.9 secs from ~ 830+ bhp Polish mapped and fettled engine.

Lot of chav cars, wanted to go up against something decent, a 996 and Skylines (R34's), although I didn't go side by side I had quicker times then them. The best thing was everyone tinkering with their cars, pushing them in the queue so not to build too much heat in the engine, I just sat there with Eastenders on and the Audi still left them all for dead.

Lot of attention at the event, mainly jaws dropping at the size of my discs. Made me laugh when one of the marshals did the saftey inspection on the car before it was allowed on, asked me to pop the bonnet to reveal the V10 lump and goes 'err, I thought it was an A4'.

Nice work Amar, stiff completion from the Civic and Rover Shame you didn't get to run against something more suitable though as you say. Have you done this before?
