Sachs, single mass is on my Christmas pressie list.
Careful. I'm still going through hell with them. Get it from a trusted supplier who can exchange defective parts with no hassle. Under no circumstances use SachsPerformance's site. My kit came with fitting problems and I'm two weeks into explaining and having them believe its possible with no exchange or replacement yet. Bought OEM so I can have my car back. ZF personnel is envolved but to no avail.

The car was brought in because of the pipe problem. Easy job.
Black 4.2 RS4 Avant, Titan wheels.
Going for K&N, flat bottom steering, LED rear lights, Dectane headlights, Milltek or Tubi exhaust.
May Sachs Performance rot in hell.

Audi A3 1.8T, Audi A4 1.8T, Audi S3, VW Passat 1.8T, VW Tiguan 1.8T (anyone see a pattern?)

can you scan the invoice? (with personal data redacted obviously)
Afraid there is No invoice Arthur.
It was all done via warranty. The only paperwork that alluded to the issue... was indeed the bulletin itself (as per other thread).
Suffice to say the wording was exactly the same as we'd uncovered. (copy has now been kept with Dealership)

RE:TPI 2012712-4
I've forwarded it to my dealer to schedule the work
I also am going to supply 3' x 1"ID reflective/thermal insulation for the hose and ask them to slip it on

the hose runs within inches of the cats/exhaust
hopefully the new hose, new/dry fluid and a insulation will alleviate the issue
mine just started doing it at 60k so I'm hoping it's just hose wear/tear and wet fluid over time

Regarding the single mass flywheel... Just noticed the RS4 v8 FSI study guide has mention of the dual mass flywheel to protect the crankshaft... Any problems with the single mass/
