DRL Lights..

Our cars have a problem with all the LED numberplate lights due to the colour DIS - they seem to have been tested on the red DIS & then inferred they will work on all A4 variations... Have tried the "modules" & the "canbus safe" festoon lights & neither worked...

i agree fella..done money on supposed plug and play leds and even had the ones from bmtown work a day without throwing a error code in hindsight for what it cost me for the resistors and someone to do it [50 quid] i had already spent that on different types of supposed plug and play bulbs..

Must say mine have been no problem either although I do remember someone saying on here they can overheat as I looked at reducing the output in VCDS but whatever I set them to seemed to make no difference to my eyes !

How do you set the output? are you changing the output Watts? in VCDS

There is a % setting in VCDS I think standard is 71% of something, I think there was one setting for both lights but not sure now - if you are going to adjust I would do so at night with the car outside as in the garage against the wall it was hopeless !
