Just ordered 4 Michelin super sports at 224 a corner...275/30s...my previous pothole wrecked ones were 265/30s..I am running 10 mm rear spacers and 8 fronts, presuming I should not get any issue with rubbing ?.

Did you try larkings in Laindon? They are always worth a call.

I've found MLS tyres in Benfleet to also be very good, they are in Manor Trading Estate.

I am going back to 255x35x19's Silas - I've 275x30x19's Vredstein's on at the mo, but seeing as it's going in for coilovers in a couple of weeks, I wanted to go back to factory STD and go with 4 x 8mm spacers from Virdee.

I was interested to see if you had any issues with the rear spacers with 275's but that's blown that one apart

Virdee said last week that spacers with 275's is a big no no when I rang him [to swing my tyre decision] last week - He would not recommend fitting any size of spacers with 275's so it's either spacers + 255's or no spacers and 275's

I've found the cheapest place for tyres to be reifen.com, by far. Praise The Lord for the single market.

the brother has been running 275/35/19's no spacers without any real problems with rubbing (only on a couple of high load corners at the Ring)

He is gonna try the super sports on his after me badgering him to do so for the last couple of years!!

Cheapest place I have found so far is Pneus online

I just put on 4x new Toyo Proxes T1 Sport A0 (Audi fitment). The GRRC member discount can get them for £160 inc VAT, delivered... but I went to ALS Tyres in Bracknell, and they supplied and fitted for £175 each - and did a laser 4-wheel alignment for £60, which I thought was pretty good.

I'm after 255/30r20 Michelin Pilot SuperSports, and my first (and really only) port of call was camskill, but they don't do that profile, only 255/35 or thicker. Anyone know where else would be even remotely competitive but stock the 255/30s? If not, is the extra 5% sidewall going to cause any problems?

Have you tried oponeo.co.uk, martay?

They've got the tyre you're after in stock and they've been quite competitive on price in the past.

Try pneus tyres,fella..not sure on the changing from 30 to 35.. They have just supplied me with 4 Michelin super sports 25 quid a corner cheaper than camskills...
