Not at all slagging anyone Irish, i live there and its good you can stereotype your own people mate. well done :beerchug:

The point is that the people that are currently targetting our Forces personell are currently in both sets of stereotypes i set, ie Irish/Middle eastern.

There would be no better coup for them than causing the death of a UK soldier own their own soil IMO.

Ah I didnt mean it as an attack on your input, just not a fan of the stereotypes associated with any race etc.

I understand the concern of terrorist attacks.

On a side note, we Irish take great pleasure in putting ourself down, I belive its a gift!

What annoys me about St Patricks day is that everyone seems to celebrate ie, English, Scottish etc but we hardly celebrate our own Patron saints day in our respective countries.

I think all nationalities should celebrate there own day with as much enthusiasm as they do St Patricks day. :beerchug:

This is not a dig at the Irish BTW.

We all celebrate St Patrick's day because it always involves ALCOHOL !!!!! :drink:

Spoke to a mate of mine yesterday who lives in Dublin, he hates Paddy's day and would rather be at work,. No pleasing some people.

Its a nightmare day mate, its best to chill out at home and have a few quite ones.

I brought an american friend into the city last year..... i will never go back there again.... dont know how the tourists put up with it!
