Thats pretty much the same as g220 Arthur,you will be safe with it even if a complete novice with machine polishing,they make a little less mess than a rotary in terms of excess wax splattered everywere and are as aggressive at paint removal

I thought the whole point in having an RS4 was to drive it not polishing for days on end?

The last thing I want to do is to spend hours polishing a car.

Its all about car care to me, and not just making it look shiny, thats just valeting, not correction/protection/ detailing

I like to maintain and protect my pride and joy so it will be in better condition than it left the showroom still in 10 years time and onwards.

Things is Paul if you spend 2 days doing a proper correction detail inlcuding glaze, polish and wax, it will last you 6 months with minimal maintenance; i.e a wash and wipe down which takes 30-50 mins when you do it.

If you don't fancy doing the 2 days yourself, then get a pro to do it for you from £400 to £800 dependent on who you use. I have sold on cars that I have kept on top of detailing wise and recouped the money resale time.

Precisely.... I sold my Evo for what I bought it for, by doing a bit of a wheeler dealer on it and restoring it back to its former glory,now better than it left the showroom or would have been sold probably by the first owner (and I was the 10th owner )

I'm a big fan of Optimum too. So easy to use with good/decent results.

How often does everyone change their microfibres etc?
