Doesn't feel right when the tax disc costs more than the insurance though!

when did you take this policy out?? i have been looking round for best quotes but ended up paying £580,i'm 47 with 9+ ncb 1x sp30,i think you could be paying a lot more on renewal as insurance seems to have doubled and more since last year,i have 4 vehicles and they all seem to be going the same way,still i suppose that insurance for you(shafted again)

3 months ago (30 June). I've put the wife on as a named driver and I'm limited to 5000 miles pa both of which reduced the premium. [And I've got about 20 yrs NCB.]

think you got lucky,i have same ncb as you ,do me a favour if you have time and go online and get a fresh quote i'd be intrested to see what it would be now

Live in a good area with car on drive......£880...Adrian Flux and thats the best i can get and boy ive tried!!!!

Dont worry your not the only one thats getting ye pants pulled down, im with admiral with a twin car car policy, wife golf gti, 6 years no claims, do have 6 point though, im 39 £1200 a year!!

Fit! Mine is due next month....31, AB41 postcode so out in the sticks, full NCB and £550 to go with Elephant. Where's AB23?

My renewal is £510 with Direct Line which I'm not happy with as I'm sure it was about £400 last year and that was with a write off on my history that has now gone.

I was reading today the insurance grouping has now changed and our RS4s will be group 42s

Did a quick re-quote and got £504! I did it quickly so I may have missed some details but still surprised at that increase although its more inline with the other quotes here.

just got renewal through off elephant at £515 full comp with protected no claims 10 years and legal cover so not to bad only increased about £70 from when i insured my vw golf R32 last year
