HELP NEED BY RS4 OWNERS PLEASE LOOK AND LEAVE FEEDBACK
When using Castrol my engine ran at 95-105, this was the first 5-6k miles.
Second service I switched to Mobil Synthetic 0w/40 (or whatever) and I get 100-115
I flagged it with the dealer but they were none the wiser....as usual. But did say not to worry.
I took the view it's in warranty, they recommended the oil and they've said not to worry.

Yep, Pretty mutch the same as the other posts:
Average about 95'c
Sits around the 101 - 102 mark at brisk motorway speeds
A spirited drive usually sees it around the 112- 116 mark
Downright abuse, lots of hills and hairpin bends, and it hit 120
Its running some appropriately specced Mobil stuff at the moment, but is being serviced next week

it seems the older the oil the hoter the temprature, the reason why i ask for this info is that ive just had my car serviced at the main dealer and was driving with the sport button off on a cold day and my oil temp hit 114 degrees c and in the last few months previous to service the oil temp never went above 104 degrees even driving hard with the sport button pressed
