The RNS-E with official Audi parts and official Audi software has an Aux In.
Kufatec just happen to sell a complete kit of those parts and the connecting wiring - you can do it yourself with parts from your local Audi dealer (like I have), but most people prefer to one stop shop.
The Aux In wasn't factory fitted to the B7 because it was on run out when it was introduced, but that doesn't alter the fact that the RNS-E DOES have an Aux In, and the parts are fitted to later 8P A3/S3s and 8J TTs.
