Security is a concern. I've had mine on Pistonheads for almost a month now. I also had it on Autotrader's website but all I got from that was two scam emails and some monkey phoning me up asking what engine has it got in it, how powerful are they then, is it four wheel drive etc - waster!

Pistonheads hasn't been much better tbh.

People just don't seem to be buying at the moment. I guess with this value car, a lot of people like finance and the reassurance of buying it from a car dealer (:)). I don't know whether to put mine back on P/heads for another month or sell it to the trade. Thing is, by doing that I know I'll get a pitance for it and I have spent an awful lot of money on it.

I do hate selling cars privately as it means I've got to deal with the public and that means all the messing around that goes with that. I've only had one person come to look at my car and he turned out to be a bloody timewaster just out for a Sunday drive with the family in tow.
