I guess that's one of the main thing that puts me off of non-OE installs. Getting carbon to match the rest of the dash would be really important to me - and since the S4 and RS4 use a different weave (at least that's true on the B7) that means low volumes for both.

The other thing that puts me off is the loss of functionality on the DIS - I like having the sat nav instructions on the DIS while letting my wife choose the music using the RNS-E screen.
