Do you have the CD changer in your motor? If you do it's a piece of cake, you simply unplug the CD changer and use the same cable for the Phatnoise. It then mounts into the CD changer cradle if it's the Audi one. Mine was for VW I think and it doesn't fit the recess properly but I've bodged it pretty well!!!

In terms of use you just press the CDC button and then press the CD disk number keys to select by album, artist or playlist etc.. and it has a voice announcement for each one, No need for any other CD's etc as it can store hundreds of albums and songs.

Mate bought me mine a month ago from Ebay for my wedding present and it was about 160 notes. Worth every penny though.

I bought one of those units recently and fitted it to the RS4. Great piece of kit.

If you take an angle grinder to the CD change cage, you can make it fit in and close the cover over, and there isnt any need to cut a hole in it carpeted cover.
