Only problem is the age of your BT module in the car, only the latest ones
Yep the N series are notorious for dropping the BT connection.

I have a Parrot BT kit in my RS and it only works on the E series Nokias and Some Sony Ericcson phones. The N series do connect but as soon as you call Bam, drop connection.

I would like to stay with nokia but not if it wont work in the car! What sort of money is the latest BT box for my car? Is it a simple swap over and away you go? The program we're talking about is a FREE download from the Nokia website.

Mine's definitely four zeros as well, not 1234, but I may have set it up like than when I got the car (can't remember now  ).

Not sure if it matters, but I always ensure the ignition is on fully when pairing a new phone, not just the RNS unit.

I've had several Sony Ericssons, a couple of Motorolas and Blackberries and the RS4's never failed to pair with any of them (doesn't help with your Nokia, though!). I'd go as far as to say it's the most reliable in-car connection I've had.

The default from audi is 1234, after fitting over 600+ phone kits I've yet to see anything else. So if it 0000 then it has been changed.

There is an option to re-set the bluetooth to factory defaults on my car.

Press the "Tel" button, then the "Set-up" Top option os something like "phone Settings", and in that menu there is the option to re-set to ractory defaults.

I would give that a go....
