OK, I was watching them and the had a torch looking at the shocks on the hoist, but this was a Audi dealership as you mentioned.

Even if your car is "misting", there must come a point where the system pressure reduces to below the acceptable limit, thereby compromising the dynamics...

Maybe 3 years of misting has now taken its toll....

Sorry Andy, you are wrong there, the shocks, provided they are visible, are checked for leaks.
