I think you have to compare like for like, a car can look totally different with different alloys. I am fortunate enough to own both and have parked them side by side to make the comparison. B7 black ss+ and B5 misano h&r. B5 looks lower and wider from the front hense more aggresive looking. B7 definately looks more aggresive from the rear. At a corner angle it's the B7 again but thats due to the bigger dished alloys imho.

I agree with jds b7 looks great from the rear but from the front and side angles not so good. b5 looks great from all angles but could be said is a little dated from front but still looks aggressive and besides is a 1999 design car.

I think b7 is too boxey from the front and side/front, b8 RS4 will be much better looking and b7 (all models) will always be the ugly duckling and that awkward transition stage between b6 and b8.

To be fair I think you should put a link from the B7 forum to here so as to not get biased views.

I was thinking that just last night. Not that I wasn't pleased or in disagreement that the B5 is obviously the better looker.... ;-)

not just saying that because I have the use of one,but from head on the B5 looks like its spent the night in a haunted barn on a thundery night drinking racing fuel and steroids:)
Hell yeah it does. love the way it looks from the front. several years ago, before i got my b5, i was on the M4 and i saw a b5 coming from miles away in my rear view mirror, absolutely unmistakeable! i had to have one.

Should put it in the Audi S/RS ownership forums for a long term poll. That way it's impartial.

Why do we need to put it on the B7 forum? I mean, lets face it, 87% of people can't be wrong..... :-)

There will be load of B7 owners and let's face it they are as common as muck :D so it's not fair to put it in there.

I would say they are about equal in agressive looks;although the B5 RS4 differs more from a B5 A4 then B7 RS4--B7 A4.

Both great cars, but i am a forced induction addict
