No name's mentioned but I was informed by a good friend and someone without doubt in the know that the RS5 will not have turbo's or superchargers. it will be a high reving V8!!

Don't get me wrong I want it to be turbo's too but until I hear otherwise from my source I'm affraid to say I believe it will be normal aspirated lump under the hood.

for my 2pence worth, I heard it was Bi-Turbo 4.2 V8

Audi's probably got the b7 engines left over on the shelf and chucked them in the RS5.

Aha, that explains the lightspeed gearchanges, it's DSG. So surely it will be N/A then as I doubt DSG could handle a twin-turbo V8?
