Spoke to Nigel again today and he says that they have found another source for the DIS screens from Germany. They are the same as OEM i.e Red info on a Black background and he is going to call me when he has some in and i will get mine swapped back over.

Will keep you all up to speed on developments.

Ive just had my DIS back under Warranty. symptons prior to finally sending it off were -
severe pixelation of the screen everytime the 'graphics' changed and a red hue. Also it was on for 3 seconds, off for 4 seconds - that pattern repeated!

anyway. they have turned it around within 3 days and I have just fitted it. Perfect. Solid red and yellow on a black background. Stays on.
Happy.

Ordering system / computer system isnt upto much though, had loads of trouble tracking my requests/phone calls which delayed collection by a day and I had to sort it with UPS myself.

But cant fauly the job now really...hopefully it will still be going strong in 2 years.

Spoke to Nigel again today at BBA Reman and as confirmed above they have the new screens (sourced from Japan) in and i will be sending mine off on Monday to be replaced ( 3rd time now :roll: ) so will report back later next week with the results.

Fitted the dash back into the car today and am very pleased with the result of the newly sourced DIS. :D

Sat Nav still doesn't work but thats a job for another day :roll:

mine is perfect when you first start the car and goes funny after a while, has nobody worked out the repair themselfs?
