I hope so, under the current circumstances it would be nonsensical to alienate the core posters of your site - currently running at 57486 posts.

David my post was not intended to cause any problems for you, I was just a bit miffed at the relevant comment and clearly was not the only one.

However it is now history and as this started out as a good luck AudiRS thread then lets get back to that.

I am taking this as the old B5 S4 is no longer worthy as they are a "cheap" car... you need to shell out 30k+ to be a worthy member of RS246?

RS246 always had a real bad name on sites like audi-sport.net because of snobery and people on here not entertaining posts from wannabe S & RS owners. Unfortunately not everyone is born wealthy and some of us have lusted for RS models all of our lives. Fortunately the B5 has become affordable & a great base for modding (And obliterating newer RS models). I have my fears that one day they will become so cheap they start attracting the absolute wrong "rice" crowd.

Anyway... maybe I am taking it the wrong way, either way I dont give a damn. Let the B5 S4 boys chat in their designated forum/other sites and let the others that think they are too good stick to their relative forum amongst "peers".

Any knowledgeable Audi person knows that technical innovation originated with the B5S4 and this has grown to encompass development of the B5RS4.

We all know that money does not necessarily buy a faster car, so lets chill out - w*nkers exist in all wallks of life.

I was driving out of the village the other day behind a brand new RS4 and his undertray was scraping on the ground, I flashed him and when he got out he was a total f*ck wit, a totally objectionable chap, did not even say thanks!

Basically he was one of those chaps you best avoid.

So maybe we should console ourselves with not being credit monkeys, after all that is hardly one of life's challenges.

This is going nowhere fast. It is quite obvious that there is pretty much nothing that John or I can say that is taken constructively.

We wish AudiSRS and its users all the best, now please let's not spoil it for those of us who are quite happy with things here.
