Certainly going back this year coming (probable twice). Currently I've got to fit Suzuki GSX-R 1000 throttle bodies to the Zetec in the Phoenix and finish building the ECU....once that's done we should be good to go

Could be up for this one as I missed taking my car last time (Sept '07) need to get it fully sorted and be rude not to really.

P.S. Oh and my co-pilot has traded in the 2.0 turbo and got the real deal all singing RS4 B7 - so we can't lose this year either way around.

Off to the ring with Rma in march. for the first trip there of the year so it should be fun if the snow

and rain keeps away ....... anyone else going there with them ? date is 26th and 27th March with no bikes and a totally open track ?

Well it was certainly an interesting trip. Track opened in the afternoon on Friday so got about 7 laps in but it was very wet. My ARBs were set too stiff for the conditions which didn't do much for confidence as the back end kept swapping positions with the front. Blizzard conditions gave some interesting video footage, as laps turned into 13min adventures!
Track was closed on the Saturday, although it apparently opened for 7 mins but closed again swiftly as they all got stuck at Karoussel and had to drive back to Briedschied!
Sunday was better with some sun, and the Grand Prix circuit opened for 20â‚¬ per 20 min session. Great track and lots of fun, though some serious nutters out there! Did 4 sessions but came off eventually on the last corner with the back end doing its overtaking the front thing again.
Monday am was covered in snow, so headed back earlier than planned.
Think it's time David started organising the next one

Got there on the friday afternoon and did 3 laps - not fun in the wet spots and not knowing ifif it was dry and or wet round hte corner. And driving flat out with a snow blizzard is weird.

Sunday was good - 7 laps. I had pirelli p zero rosso on the car for this trip and i did not like them compared to the R8 pirelies. There was no feel from them and i also had a loose rear end - dropping the rear tyre pressures right down helped but still not great.

Split a charge pipe so ran wastegate boost for sunday.

Got tested for noise on sunday - but not with the noise tester and passed - i did have the rev counter changed so it revs 50% higher on the gauge than it actually is revving.
