Enjoyed a well organised day at Bruntingthorpe today, well done Craig if you're watching. Nice to meet Dace, Lucus and daybar. The general consensus was that the conditions weren't ideal as there was quite a headwind, so I doubt if any records were broken.
Some awesome motors there; more porkers than you could shake a stick at, Careera GT, Zonda, LP640, the list goes on.
Not sure what your best was in the end daybar, but I hope you get your boosting issues sorted and I'll see you on Saturday at Thorney.
Lucus did the B5 clan proud in his 650 brake monster with a 191 best, but sadly had gearbox probs, hope it's not too serious.
Me and Dave both ran bests of 170, which I was more than happy with considering the conditions and the fact we were driving lardy uber-barges.

Thanks for the passenger ride Lucas. Over 650 ponies.......unbelievable!
Mike, some great footage of our tussle to the timing beams, thanks and you have a bloody quick third gear
All the "big barges" performed brilliantly, in the best company to date, at the best venue on the circuit.

Yes, a great day out in automotive wonderland - I thought Pagani Zondas only existed in the fevered imaginations of motoring journalists but one turned up (although it did retire hurt, I understand). Also a so-special Porsche (Carrera GTR?) that I had no idea what it was. Oh and two Lambo something or others and a couple of Ferraris. But so many "ordinary" Porsches (several were far from that, of course) that I felt honoured to have the only example of an S4 B5 load lugger to attend.
Couldn't better 151mph myself which is not embarrassing but goes to show the effect the conditions can have - 11 mph down on last time. You only realise just how fast those cars are off the line when you take your own up against them and your best efforts (or at least mine!) leave you hundreds of yards behind at the end of the runway.
Many thanks for your help, guys and I've done a bit of research on my boost problem and I'm hoping it's as simple as a perished rubber pipe, but I've ordered an N75 and two new DVs just in case. Will have a go at fixing it beforehand, but in a way the RR day could be perfect timing with all those experts in one place itching to get their hands dirty!

I put in a request for Lucus' 191 to be added and that's now done:

He's splitting up the porkers nicely.
