The reason for the video ban at the ring (yes, there is one!) is to prevent crash clips from appearing on the t'interweb because this kind of publicity is threatening the future of tourist driving on the ring!

IMO there is no stopping the power of the web though.

Couldn't see what you were referring to but from what you're saying, the owners of the ring have/are banning usage of cameras while driving round the circuit?

Yes, exactly, you cannot video on the ring.
