Mine? I like it but I could live with a little more noise for a little more power
Even Doug thought mine was bl**dy loud, even at part throttle! It appears I've got 100 cell race cats and a twin non-resonated set up. The loudest possible! Anyway, Doug's spoken to Phil at Milltek and he's making me up a set of resonated link pipes so hopefully that will quiet things down a little...

So they supplied the wrong item's. can't they swap them out for you?

Offer still stands for the exhaust swap if the new pipes don't get the noise down enough

Well, Milltek have made me some resonated link pipes and Doug fitted them the other week. Can't say that there's a lot of difference to be honest. They do seem slightly quieter around 70 but motorway cruising is not 70 these days, is it!
Think I'm going to have to live with the noise - Milltek have said they can change the cats to 200cpsi if I want them to, but that means taking off the down pipes etc and the car off the road for a while. Also the benefits of the 100cpsi cats should be seen once I do the KO4 up-grade and thus convinceme a little more. 'Hears' hoping!!....

I'm getting some Milltek downpipes put on in the next few days or so - NO pre-cats and NO cats!! Will mate directly to my Milltek 3" cat-back via the Milltek link-pipes. Should see me get some power gains and make it sound meatier too ... to paraphrase you Adam: 'hears' hoping ...

What's the M5 pushing out now Si? Aound 450? Should be pretty quick off the line, especially with launch control! This is going to be an interesting meet....
