I was trying to be clever, but you win, credit to youjeffw wrote:Ahhh of course....you need a LWFW (Lightweight Folding Wheelchair ?)

RE: Re: On the Rollers
I'm going to be devastated if I only get an improvement of 11BHP after RS4 ICs, fuel pump, injectors and MRC remap.....I got 365 on the same RR without the extras
RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: On the Rollers
293bhp at the wheels and 376bhp @ the flywheel tally together well from what I have been able to pick up so far. Expected more of a discrepency in the flywheel figure compared to what was actually measured at the wheels.

RE: Re: On the Rollers
go on then David whats a LWFW...ahhhh light comes on...lightweight flywheel ....sorry, being thick
Re: RE: Re: RE: On the Rollers
Well then my guess is 404bhp & 445 lb / ft flywheel, if you use that fancy shell fuel, or better still, the BP 102 stuff that southern softies can getjeffw wrote:That's cheating....pre ICs being fitted FATS was 4.0 (2 up) and MAF max was 320...

RE: Re: On the Rollers
Just checked by old Surrey RR result and it's 280 at the wheels with AmD remap, K04s and full Milltek.
Re: RE: Re: On the Rollers
Jeff I bought the car just after it had been on the rollers so wasnt really sure if the owner was pleased with the results or not. However its hard enough to use the power the car has now so I am not sure I would want much more to be honest and the torque is awesome. That said I have seen cars with a lower spec (i.e Dougs) make 400bhp
which to me doesnt make much sense as my car has no faults on VAG-COM and passed through a MRC healthcheck.
The car does however have an issue with the electrics as the voltmeter normally reads only just over 12v even after a decent run. I think this is due to a faulty voltage regulator which needs to be sorted at some point. Could running low voltage cause a power drop due to weaker spark?

I reckon that it will be somewhere betwen 320 & 330 BHP at the wheels....we'll see tomorrow

Re: RE: Re: On the Rollers
Different dyno, although same hardware, makes my 250 all the more pleasing (remap only).jeffw wrote:Just checked by old Surrey RR result and it's 280 at the wheels with AmD remap, K04s and full Milltek.
Fingers crossed for the result you are after.

Judging by your driving most cars would feel slow....LMAO.....I took a nap during gear changes...

Mik... I drove Zeroks the same way and he drove it pretty much like you did. Since I have not pushed either car at all I was mainly commenting on the torque and the kick in the midrange while I was driving. In the passenger seat of both cars I have experienced a lot more rpms.
Proud to say I'm careful with other peoples cars... If you want to know how I drive my own cars - ask Zerok.. He has years of experience in the passenger seat
Ahhhh... the good old days (sigh)
Anyway si_hill... Do not fear. The Avant is nicer than the sedan and blue beats yellow
So Mik... since you've made a guest star appearance... Are you all RS4'd up now and how does it compare to the old S4?
