I possibly know of the first avant to meet its death. The owner was T boned at a junction in London. The airbags went off, the engine oil ignited, the whole car went up- WRITE OFF.

I only know about this as his son has emailed me about possibly buying mine as a replacement rather than waiting 6-8 months

Which internet auction?It is well hit for sure,not sure if the drivers door isnt shut properly but its well out of alignment,id take a guess at it making 25-30k,if it makes any more you can rest assured some other innocent owner will be having theres kindly removed from there posession to assist its repair!

It's a Norwich Union site - I expect it'll make about £30k.

Yep, sure is. As long as you're in the motor trade then you can apply - it was a right pain to get sorted IIRC.

Still under £20k and an hour to go!

Do your cars have VINs in the UK? If so, you may want to post the VINs on the RS4 VIN registry so potential owners can check to see if they are buying these wrecks.
