Delivery at last.

Our dealer said the same thing..RS4 is delayed because of certain technical reasons,
Avant won't be here till 2007, reckoned he got a memo from Audi.. am going in tommorow again, will delve deeper, i hope this isn't the case, but as far as RHD models go, unfortunately we come quite far down on the pecking order..

VAG group do this quite often, I recall the new beetle, TT etc all taking an rather long time to come to the UK while lhd demand is satisfied first.

So what else is there for me to spend my money on? S8

I have been informed that a demo car which cannot be driven will in my dealer on or around the 15th Feb. Interesting that they say the car cannot be driven, wonder why?

Yeah our dealer reckons he has a customer demo arriving in a couple of weeks, which will be showcased in the showroom for a while.. i think with this launch which is becoming quite a farce to be honest, its a question of lets just wait and see, seems dealers are saying whatever they want to just get orders down.

My dealer just said exactly the same thing, because the RS4 GB launch is on 1st March the car can't be taken out until then!!!!!!

With a broken metatarcel, at the moment he's playing more snooker than kicking footballs and driving cars plus his missus recently got banned for speeding. No wonder he cancelled his RS4.

Our first customer cars have now gone to the final stage before shipping, we are told that we WILL receive our first cars for the onsale date of 1st March.

Avant ordering starts July for Sept/Oct Delivery.

SkodaW, Can I ask what dealership you work for? It would be nice to have a chat with your Audi area CRO to see why they think RHD cars in final stages. I can confirm as yet no production RHD cars have begun prodction, the first cars to enter will be the uk demo cars which account for nearly three weeks.

Again I can see Avant being delayed until December / Jan 2007. I am a betting man and have the advantge of regulally standing in the factory.

Customer cars have begun production. Im not entirely sure where some people are getting their information from.
