Chris,

I have had the HID kit from VAGParts for two years now and it is a really significant upgrade. Pretty straight forward to fit following the guide on their website. You already have headlight wash funstion on the RS2 and have manual range/height adjustment. I have been through two MOTs since without any issues. Just make sure that you have them set up right on the height so you are not dazzling anyone and you won't bring any unwanted attention to you.
The only thing I found was I started to get issues with the autolamp warning buzzer after a while, but that is very easy to fix
