hi all, 1st post == new S4 owner living in Holland and I was following the links on petrol types. We dont have Optimax over here, but we do have V Power. Having a look at the pump I noticed it said "95 RON" so did some investigating. The dutch shell web-site basically confirms that V Power is formulated according to the market needs, and suggests that "..if your car has an octane need of minimum 98, recommends we you super plus 98 using to continue" (dutch translation using babelfish). for more. Bottom line is dont assume V Power is RON 98 when travelling abroad; it probably isnt. In its place I suppose Super Plus 98 could safely be assumed to be 98 RON
