Like i said foggy..... see all options and see how it goes.... tuning is a very competitive market and their will always be more powerful options out there.... try them out and then see... but remember power can be a very adictive thing... so if you really really like the company that offers the most oooompf remember more power and torque does hamper engine lifespan.

Just my 1p

I have been very pleased with the car since Revo and know that it certainly performs as well as AmD's offering by Hopsta and I beating it out on the track

I'm not even going to rise to that one Benny boy I think you know the truth mate

I think that Windsor will be a good night to test with a full range of the main tuners there (AmD, Revo, MTM and APR EU). Time to have a play and see what you think of them all. More than happy to take you out (as a return favour )

I'd say that you need to 'Drive' the car - not be a passenger...

i disagree.... what you need to do is rip the living daylights out of it using all rev`s and extracting the maxium power...... that way you`ll know what its all about!

I've got the APR chip with normal programme(1 flash), 257bhp(2 flash) and Optimax 265bhp(3 flash). I paid £690 about two months ago, ???? Also have Jetez replacement element from Halfords(£40). When on 265 bhp it goes really well, can also hear the air been drawn through the filter, and the wastegate releasing excess pressure when you shut off.

My only complaint is distinguishing between programmes, the flashing of the management light is sh*t! But when you pull off you can tell the difference I suppose.

Why do the bells in Cossies always catch up for a race when its on 210 bhp? By the time you've changed the programme, you've either almost drove up a kerb or into on coming traffic

Graham,

If you are feeling generous, fancy letting Simon plug in VAG COM to log your car? It would be great if we could get a couple of 4th gear pulls from an AMD car

someone call.....

Dunc and Simon are quite correct. I am not chipped by AmD, (or ever have been) but im aiming to, my current black S3 is standard and untouched.

I had Revo on my previous red S3 and was more than happy with it , in fact its whats wetted my apetite for another remap, now i know what the car is capable of, and what im missing!

i have a fresh car to play with now, and i mentioned at the time of getting it, back in May, i felt like trying something else.

That said, its not set in stone! Depends how long i have to wait for it...... im itching to be remapped again.

Ah, I was hoping someone would bring a VAG-COM.
I've got a service due imminently so it would be good to know what was showing, pre-warned is pre-armed and all that

Here you got Mo.... from REVO forum
Seat Leon R Update
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Over the last couple of weeks we have re-addressed the Seat Leon R and have made some minor alterations to the code. Although the power is similar there is a significant torque increase to around 300ftlb, and it is a much smoother code eliminating the slight hesitation that some people mentioned.

You can get your free update at your local Revo Dealer

Sounds good to me.
