Is it easy to fit and where is the original located?

original is under engine cover over back right hand side of engine bay.
between engine and bulk head.
Bailey are not so common. People usually go for those sold by Amd , which is now the Viper of Forge.

Is it silent?
Does it affect the air-flow meter?

Yes there are re-circ type which is what you should be using on the S3. An atmos type can stall the turbo causing damage.

Yes it is re-circ.
Yes it is silent.
Hasn't had any effect on the air flow meter. I have had it installed for around 6 months.
I Have also had the Bailey DV installed in the past as well as the latest Bosch one and I honestly can't tell the difference between any of the types I have had installed.
