Interestingly, I had a gearbox in my B8 at 26,000 miles, paid for by Audi. There was an issue with one of the gears synchro iirc.
As above I was okay with it as I got a new gearbox.
Still miss it, totally amazing engine - what a classic and the rapid fire box too. However, B9 is a better car overall and you can feel it’s evolved.
