I guess see if they bring a sport pack out that includes that lot.
That's due in the summer apparently

Well, at least you were honest.

How do you normally have your B8 setup for driving?

Remember the reluctance of many to move B7 to B8 (where all the B8 guys knew the B8 was a step up from the B7).
Wasn't that the Chris Harris review where he basically said the B7 was the best RS car ever and the B8 the worst. I know it heavily influenced me.
I hope he dopes a B9 review but I doubt he does car reviews now he's on TG.
Well he is a bit of a plonker now though isn’t he !?
I like Chris Harris and his reviews, but where he misses the mark with Rs4 reviews, is he reviews it as a car that can drift sideways everywhere and offer the ultimate in driver feedback. However, I, like most new RS4 drivers, use the car every day for decent mileage every year, and I don't want a car that goes sideways everywhere. I want a car that does the everyday stuff with ease, looks and sounds good and goes well for those rare occasions that I feel the need to really push on
Don't get me wrong, sideways everywhere cars have their place, but that's a car that's only used occasionally and spends most of its time tucked up in a garage getting wheeled out when the occasion arises
I think a few of the YouTube video reviewers hit the nail on the head (and it pains me to say that too), when they review the car as 'what if you could only have one car for everything'

the car driven had the carbon pack not something i would spec but i do like the 20" milled alloys that currently are only available with the this pack
Thanks for the review

Was this car an actual "carbon edition" or a standard with a carbon pack?

Correct. Although there are a couple of weird non UK spec demo cars about with the wheels on a non carbon edition, alcantara wheel, coloured stitching etc.

Looks like a carbon edition to me. The UK non carbon edition with the milled wheels i see on the web didn't have the engine carbon.

Yours was DRC sports suspension..

Agree. Funny how that sentiment comes down through the range and to other non car people. was looking at houses at the weekend and the sales person was asking about cars (wanted to move from BMW 320d to a Jag XE). I said I wouldn't bother with the Jag as the interior is lacking compared to ze germans (from personal experience on an extended test drive). I then suggested an A4. Her response was - "but audi's are boring".

I chose not to engage further at that point...what "excitement" are you getting from a 320d on your 6 mile round trip?

Yep, it's fun getting the arse out on my c350e coming round roundabouts, but I liked the surge the RS4 allowed coming off roundabouts much better...in all conditions! :FIREdevil:
