turbos are your issue , they kill sound and muddy up the sounds you hear from the engines firing order.

Is the firing order the same do you know ? I also read it has 400 unique parts, but also has a lambo bull stamp on the block somewhere etc..

It must be the turbo's that dull the sound

Not sure on firing order IanH will be along to answer that but Bull stamp on block is correct I believe that is the only Lambo connection!

As RTD said, only the bare block is the same (with it's Lambo marking still there), every single thing else (crank, pistons, rods, valves etc) is all custom to the RS6 and all those changes effect the sound the engine makes, plus the turbos heavily muffle/chop-up/blur the firing order sound too (which is 1 - 6 - 5 - 10 - 2 - 7 - 3 - 8 - 4 - 9).

For the "closest to Lambo" sound you're after you'd really need the 5.2L V10 S6 with a custom exhaust (and "maybe" a set of manifolds too) rather than the RS6.

I have a full supersprint system including cat delete pipes on my saloon, also has MRC stage two, sounds loud and punchy on full throttle with gear change snort just like the videos, no drone, but on part throttle is less intrusive around town. it is are expensive. but very pleased with my system
