Ceramic brakes .. fitment advice

I think the correct spacer should be 4,4mm and not 5mm.
That is the easy way to fit them... i have shaved of 1,4mm to the caliper carriers and will use a 3mm spacer... also had to shave of 4mm of my new bbs wheels... Should fit like a dream then!

What colour on the calipers do you think i should have?

The bells are not available separately and I think you'll have problems taking them apart without damaging them.

Do you know if the carbon discs are made by someone like Brembo or Alcon for Audi? Perhaps they could supply spare bells?

B7 ceramic discs were made by SGL who then joined forces with Brembo in 2009, the callipers have always been made by Brembo except for C6 RS6 and Q7 which are Alcon. The ceramic pads were made by Pagid until stocks were exhausted and are now supplied by Brembo.

Disc bells and calliper carriers are not available separately from Audi.

Has anyone attempted to fit 420mm ceramics off a C6 RS6? Wondering if they will fit and what spaces might be required for the B7.

I have the 400mm, the 420 kit with alcon calipers requires much more work to fit.

Sorry for a little bump of s old thread seemed daft to make a new one

Do the ceramic brakes poke out more than standard I.e if somebody fitted 10mm spacers for wheelsto clear standard calipers will I need bigger?

The 380 B7 ceramics dont poke more but the caliper is slightly further out witch could make it hit the wheel...
