For roof boxes, like centurion, I would go with Kamei every day of the week. Well thought through, robust and capable of a good cruise.
For bike racks, I can’t see past Atera. Ours has helped us to Spain at good speed carrying 3,4 and 5 bikes, for the last few years. It slides out of the way to keep the boot useable. Cracking bit of kit.
Got both from roofbox.co.uk, who have provided great customer service and to whom I have no allegiance. The Atera is also capable of a good, rs246 style cruise.Image

Is that a tow bar mounted rack? I've bought a really good one like that where the bike sit on top of the wheel mounts from Norauto in France this year. It's for three bikes, but I've not had the balls to put it onto the RS6 yet!

It is towbar mounted and ride-on for the bikes.
Works well, much better than on my wife’s X5 because the RS6 rides so much more smoothly.
Also realised I’ve polluted a C6 thread with a C7 pic, sorry!!Image

I'm looking into roof bars for the RS6, and the plan is to mount mountain bikes to them, not a roof box. Are the Thule aero bars the best out there? Looking for recommendations to the roof bars and bike racks. I have a Norauto 3 bike ride on bike rack like in the above pictures, and it is very good and secure, but it is strap mounted via the boot to body gap, and I don't really fancy using that on the RS!

I haven't tried OEM bars but i can assure you that Thule Aero are super tight, tidy and do not produce any unwanted noise.

We did 4,500 mile trip in Eur this summer with Kamei Delphin roof box and i was very pleased with them.

Tad fiddly to setup (set aside 20-30min and a cuppa), other than that it's happy days :).

Have fun!

In the end I got a Thule box heavily discounted at Volvo. Replaced the Volvo Badges and it looks great!
