Range Rovers are a nightmare to live with, always breaking down. I honestly wanted to burn ours it caused so much stress and trouble. Seriously not worth owning one.

I've been told by two dealers now that the facelift car won't be available until next year - no confirmation of when next year. Also, a new model is due out in 2020.

Not now according to Senior sources at JLR. Lifted from the FFRR Forum:

The MY18 was due Oct, then Dec and has now been delayed until Feb/March next year so you will be waiting for a long time.

Please don't ask me how I know but the source is senior at JLR...

So as the new model is out in 2020 - then probably worth ordering the SQ7 as a stop gap.

Yep, they've this one final attempt to fix & if they can't/don't then it's going back.

This new InControl Touch Pro appears to be fooked in about 25-40% of relevant JLR vehicles & unfortunately mine's not playing ball. Totally taken the pleasure out of the car for me & quickly losing confidence in the JLR brand.

Well I think I'm going to order the SQ7 fully spec'd up, just the residuals are scaring me.

Tell me about it :bash: Sratched an itch & kinda wish I hadn't bothered.

If everything worked as you'd expect on a £100k premium vehicle, I'd have been over the moon, but all these electronic gremlins are sapping the enjoyment from what should be an epic vehicle.

The SQ7 would no doubt be interesting, but even with my FFRR issues & they only appear to affect a smallish percentage of cars, I couldn't choose any Q7 over it's respective FFRR. That said, it's perhaps only my opinion :bigblink:

The more time I spend in the new Q7, the more I dislike it.

Passengers have also commented that it's not as sumptuous as they'd expect for a range topping model. Granted my loan car is only a mid-range model and not the SQ7 version. However, the ride quality and road noise are well below par, I'd say my RS4 is quieter and an A6 Allroad rides better.

It's on air and running Pirelli Scorpion Verde tyres.
