No noises from it at all.

The lines are quite stiff and have a steel braid through them so they will transmit any vibrations from the engine into the chassis if they are pressed against it using the supplied spacer. I can't understand why they went for a hard plastic one as the rest of the kit is fitted on rubber mounts the same as the standard cooler.

I assume there are different interpretations of the noise due to slight variations in engine vibrations between cars due to engine mount condition etc.

Cheers buddy all sounds logical. I wonder if the rubbing would eventually cause premature wear to the hoses too over time.sounds like your mounting solution is the best way forward.
