I'm going to have a few runs at the pod to see what she's like.
Not quite sure best way to get this thing if the line tbh with no launch but I'll have a play.
Will also get a vbix in there for some more granular details ar9und 60's and 60-120 etc

I'm happy with the results :-)
Thanks guys
Would choose Mrc maybe as well, as I see you guys like it and they have good reviews, but in Belgium no Mrc, I think I will choose APR then :?
I didn't use MRC
I used JBS (who used to deal APR at one time...)

Leo has done lots of runs with tuned and untuned RS6 I believe. From memory he said the launch control was fine for standard car, but didn't work well once it was tuned and caused too much wheel spin. I guess it has been optimised for standard power and grip levels. Once tuned he said it was quicker to not use the launch and just floor it I think.

Yeah mike correct - I've seen Leo's posts about that and tbh I wouldn't try to hold it on the brake with that torque as I don't think it's actually proper launch system so likely will be straining "things"

Yes, standard car launches better than a modified one 99% of the time. You can launch it all day on the brake with standard power and get consistent figures. Try doing that in a modified car and you may manage 1 or 2 clean getaways in 10 attempts.

Best way in a modded car is to roll it off the line I'm afraid. Although, you can do this at more than idle rpm. Still select ESP off and hold it on the brake but release the brake as revs rev through 2000rpm (No hold, just revving through) - That way you will get a clean getaway, half a launch and it's quicker than a static roll from idle rpm. It's the in between method I would say.

I'd had well over 50x hold launches on my car standard and tuned, no issues at all so don't be hesitant about trying it a few times. ZF boxes are pretty bomb proof.

A guy I've know has had well over a 100 launches in his car (APR remap) and had no issues so far.
