You probably could have done that back to back testing with the Pirelli's and an old pair of trainers sellotaped to a wheel; you would still have found them a great improvment over the Pirellis. I've not had any experience with the S001 but had some Bridgestone Potenza 03's many years ago that I thought were very good at the time but were later surpassed by the Goodyears and then the Michelins.Nigelo2 wrote: ↑Wed May 03, 2017 8:54 pmNot Bridgestone per se but the S001s developed for Ferrari's 458 Italia. I did back to back testing between Pirelli P zero and S001 for many miles on both my A6 avant 3.0 TDI Quattro and again on my Maserati 3200. Both had 4 wheel alignment carried out on each set.. The difference was huge once the tyres had a few miles on them with the S001 being more compliant, higher grip, and faster more responsive turn in. Downside is higher wear but I can live with that
hope this helps
