She loved it but she writes something that the plebs will read, ergo, she has to deride such a luxurious purchase, least she get lynched by the great unwashed. Drench.

Anyway....

Where were we?

In a way it's interesting to read what a non-petrolhead makes of a car we all like. On the other hand, it irks me that a car "review" can be written by someone so clueless! No mention of the engine, gearbox, fuel...very little detail in general. There must be committed motorist journos that'd give their left leg to get this gig at a national newspaper.

Her other "reviews" are pretty comical too.

The Guardian had another car themed article of interest today. Impending carmageddon! Sounds like a really bad max-power type car show!

Some valid points raised.

The point is that there are loads of other magazines and websites who have reviewed the RS6, why would we need another one saying the same thing? The Guardian 'review' is a little bit of light-hearted reading. It's like comparing Top Gear from the 90s - which was a factual car review show - to what it is today.

You bunch of plebs!

Whilst I enjoyed the car review in its quirky Guardianesque way, that article on transport was the exact kind of tree-hugging garbage that reminds me why I don't read the Guardian.

Question is, was Phil saying he 'hates moderating' or he was 'hate moderating'?
