Whilst cif may clean the seats it surely doesn't condition the leather as it cleans in the first place by exfoliating and scrubbing. It may well remove the crap and leave them nice and clean but it would probably be worth the follow up with some appropriate leather cleaner. Meguiars for example.

Way I see it you would then get the best of both. A thorough clean and then a full moisturise to repair the drying leather. If the leather is just a little dirty then just the meguiars.

So giving the lad a hard time saying it won't work when you have not tried it seems a little off......however him having a rant like a 6 year old girl whose dropped her barbie doesn't help matters.

I got a leather care & restoration kit from audi the other day and did not get too happy with the result. Did not really get the results i was hoping for. As soon as my back is fit again i will actually try the CIF magic :)
