I love you guys....

...chuckle

So I have done further mathematics (probably should have done this before I bought it!!!!)

I've spec'd up my car vs the car i would have bought if the RS4 Ltd wasn't around, again the RS4 Ltd was bought, because I think it'll hold it's resale a bit more. I know that if I was looking in 4-5 years then I'd want a Nogaro with a decent spec, or a ltd, hence why I've been daft and gone for the new one.

Again - to be clear, if I was using Audi Finance with GFV, etc etc then it'd probably be a different story. I love some of the cars out there, and mine have been a mean all black or missano machine.

Before discount the difference between std and my spec is £3110 (the ltd is more expensive), after discount I reckon more like £1000 - £1500 (I did do the research on this with dealers over 3 months... and on here!!!)

If we throw in the Halfords parts bin, the PIMP me UP options.... chuckle - I've "saved" £7470 vs a STD base car.

Ah haaa

Thing is, it was a mental man spreadsheet (i.e. the physical one above was only produced this morning), as if the wife had seen it, she'd have said NO - chuckle, in my mind this car was "only" a grand or so more.... with so much more value and resale potential darling......

AH HAAAAA chuckling here - I was nervous about going this far, but now I;ve taken the plunge, the excitement is eating me up.

My last sports car was the 911TT 5 years ago, and since I've had nothing, sharing our golf plus with the wife (long story for a beer) - so this isn;t just a flaming car, it's a marker in life......

God I hope it looks OK - and I like it!!

It has literally reduced a hardened business-man (that's me btw) to an emotional wreck, and it's a bloody car - I'm even smashing it in the gym so that I fit the seats!!!

COOCKOOO - now where is that bloody car!!!

I'm not so sure the ltd will 'preserve depreciation'..

How much of the 7ks worth of yellow stitching are you gonna see at the other end?

Chuckle I dunno - that's why mine are red.

I'm not saying it won't depreciate, but as last of the v8's, and ltd with most of the brochure spec'd on it, it may be differentiated from the norm.

That can go either way. I'm at the table betting on the upside.

And on the stitching - the white is very charmone too

Thing is - I didn't have the balls for the yellow - but I bet in the flesh it looks stunning, for about 30 minutes.

Why on earth would you call it "Nogaro Selection" ? Its sounds like a chocolate...."would sir care for a chocaolate from the Nogaro Selection?".
One pulled in to Nottingham Audi and the paintwork looks okay but the interior looks like a Subaru imprezza!
Do you get a leather dash and leather upper door trim for the 6.9k?

I've seriously not got a clue..... this is like buying a house off plan, I even rang Audi - and they couldn't find any decent images / specs.

I THINK the backs of the Sports seats are all leather, just from the image above - which could be nice, apart from the 4/6 yr old girlies who sit in the back! FEET OFFFFF!

See on the Nogaro - I loved the interior, my wife however didn't - it was quite normal before the RS4 B5 for the S4 B5's to have coloured seats, and I've owned two Imprezas :-) so probably says something about my past and why I've gone daft on these red ones....
