Your throttle will feel a little weird when you first pull off, as though it's a little stiff, perfectly normal but when you press the sport button its a completely different set of rules, when I got mine back a couple of weeks ago the first time I did a 3rd gear overtake and let it Rev past 8k the only two words that came out was F*#k Me.
It's addictive :biggrin3:

Picked the car up earlier today and WOW, what a difference! It feels so much more urgent now and responsive, there is so much more pull through the gears and and with the pre-cat delete added onto my milltek it sounds even better!
This is how the car should always of felt. Great job by the lads at MRC, service and quality was top notch :beerchug:

Mine is going into them on Tuesday.. Already had the carbon clean last month by Unit 20 as they are on my doorstep.. Car feels very different after thet worked they're magic, Just hoping I feel a difference after the stage 2 re-map.. I'm guessing most people have the 2 jobs done together and the difference must be incredible.. Is the pre-cat delete a worthwhile job? How much noisier is it? I already have a Milteck on it, Does it gain more power? Is the cold air mod worth it? Sorry for all the questions just wanna make sure I do the right thing.
Thanks in advance guys.

I would definitely recommend the pre-cat delete, it will improve the sound of your milltek and it will also help gain a bit more power, tbh it doesn't really make it much louder if you already have the Milltek. CAF is quite a popular mod and is very good for airflow. If you go for the stage 2 map with CAF and gutted pre-cats you will not be disappointed, it makes a great car even better! :)

Wow.. took my RS4 to MRC yesterday for a stage 2 re-map.. The car was de-coked last month at unit 20 so that wasn't needed.. Strangely enough it turned out a previous owner had had a poor attempt at a re-map and the car was actually running worse than it would of been without this poor map IE it produced 396ps on the rolling road.. A little bit of MRC magic and we are up to 423.5ps.. The car feels so much quicker and responsive from around 3.5-4k it really feels ballistic especially in sport mode.. The sad thing is a lot of people test drive these cars and aren't particularly impressed with the performance because these cars are probably in need of a de-coke.. The stories I read before purchasing mine almost put me off buying one... 'The RS4 feels really slow compared to my E46 M3' was a common one.. Having owned 2 x e46 m3's including a CSL and 2 x E92 V8 m3's I can honestly say that my RS4 is now a lot quicker than the E46 m3 in every department and also quicker than the V8 M3 particularly lower down the rev range 'where the v8 m3 felt gutless' they really come alive above 7500 revs (but that aint much use 80% of the time) Overall Im a happy bunny and I can see this car being a keeper as it ticks all the boxes.

Yes he does mate.. You will get a printout of the RR before and after. You will be very shocked / surprised on the drive home particularly if you are getting a carbon clean done at the same time.

Doug will normally do a few runs to get the the car up to temp and get a consistent reading. I think he did four with mine the other weekend before he started mapping. The difference between the first and fourth was 20 bhp with no remapping.
