Did you get somewhere to apply that for you? I need to get something like that when I get round to having the front end of mine painted. I definitely couldn't see it on your car so it's obviously a good product & application

I've got 3M film on my front bumper wing arches front and back, roof tip ie at the top edge of the windscreen. This stuff is good but the vents above the front bumper splitter are chipped to high heaven and the bonnet is chipped too. Bird sh1t and flies are hard to remove from the 3M film and it does look a bit shabby in very small areas ie where big stones have hit it. The dilema I have is how does my body Shop spray my bonnet and blend it to the wings and spray the other chipped areas without removing the film. Don't get me wrong my car's not peppered but as I said I like it showroom condition. Overall I think its not worth having the film as its around £400 and as you can see dilema's all over the place.

+1
I think the film on my car is the latest stuff, seems very strong with amazing clarity, I guess only time will tell on how well it weathers

I thought it was amazing drive, but I think you should track it as intended....IMHO

How does it compare to the Noble..?

Glenn
Hi Glenn, thanks. Although both cars are renowned for their handling and roadholding, the Porsche just feels much more 'planted' and less likely to throw you off the road. The Noble felt much faster and to be honest, it used to scare me every time I drove it! Haven't really driven the porsche much as I just drove it back from london and put it away for the winter. Roll on 1st April.
Covkiller wrote:Cars are meant for driving. And as stated its a shame the price has gone stratospheric as it stops owners driving them as they should. I know my RS4 is not in the same league but OCD is taking over and I hate it when it doesn't look showroom fresh. But I can't help canning the bolx off it and taking it too the ring and collecting stone chips on the UK's pristine highways and byways. My arse.
This is a real dilemma, I'd love to track it, and may well do occasionally, but I'll be content to enjoy putting a good few miles on it on the road. Collecting stone chips will be inevitable so I may have to consider fitting some sort of protective film, the fat rear arches already have a few wee chips and will no doubt get more if I don't do something about it.
