Box sorted, should mention cooling fan replaced with cam and bits, :bash: which was causing some agg but now sorted.

Many consumables (most apparent and prone to grief) taken care of and actually for the niggles, very tidy really.

Perhaps a slightly daft question but thought I'd put it out there anyway!

A plus is still a c5 Rs 6 so they still have all the inherent problems!

Thought that would be the case but as they were at the end of the C5 production run, i thought Audi may have cleared a few bits up. Apparently not.

Thanks though Amanda.

No, it's not Audi's style. In fact they like having people's cars break and be undriveable and dangerous so much they carried the fatally flawed DRC onto the RS4 B7 for another semi-decade. Image

if anything , the 'plus' stands for '+ more parts to go wrong' .
joking aside, as said previously by others, they have the exact same problems

Is it not the general concensus though that the later MY gearboxes are slightly more robust than the Cadbury's made originals?
Anyone on here had a Plus and had 'box issues?

Yes, I have a Plus and had 'box issues' within 3 months of ownership. Cheers.
Luckily, Warrantywise forked out for a refurb through QST and (touch wood) it has been problem free for over 12 months since.
