Hi Condor, I've managed to get a drive this weekend at Nottingham Audi, apparently its daytona grey so I'm keen to see what it looks like before my cars build slot is finally confirmed

I agree! Wrap was to go over Daytona grey to make it a matt finish as there were too many issues plus cost with audi matt paint. However decided to scrap the Daytona grey and just go for sepang blue, looks awesome!!

parmd, Howdy: Any reason (besides £££) why you didn't go for Dynamic pack plus (Ceramics)?

How was the test drive in the RS6 ?
Just a suggestion .. Why don't you go for Daytona Grey but wrap it for first few years in Sepang ?
Sepang is quite a bright colour, but personally I think can 'date' very quickly. Daytona is an awesome classic colour without the every day WOW. Daytona glistens with beautiful stylish green flecks when clean.

Ceramics are definately required for an RS6, regardless of road type.
They should be made compulsory!
Thats the first option that should be ticked.

Hey condor24
Test drive was awesome!! On startup you just get a nice subtle V8 rumble and it just effortlessly cruises around the streets with bags of torque. Sounds awesome at low speed even with the standard exhaust, got onto a country lane and let rip and the thing just took off!! The exhaust note sounded like a fighter jet and it launched forward with immense torque. I reached very high speeds with little effort. I did however found the standard suspension a little unresponsive as when I pushed hard on the country lanes it just bounced over the jumps in the road rather than a controlled absorption of them. However this could very likely be that I was going too fast an in the wrong driving mode. All in all a very comfortable split personality car, love it !!

Hey beerchug I'm going for the paint shield clear self healing film now. It costs about the same as a wrap but it comes pre cut by computer so no risk of some twit trying to cut the wrap on the car( had this on my 911) I've also been to.d the paint shield has a higher tolerance to stone chips. Asi plan on thrashing it this sound perfect for me
