Might just be me but comparing exhaust sounds of HMS kits my order of preference would be;

1/ C7 S6 Just sounds dirty
2/ B7 RS4 bassy and sonorous
3/ B8 RS4 nice sound but quite high pitched; apart from F1 cars 10k rpm+ V8's are supposed to rumble like thunder

Their tiled dyno room will do lots to enhance the sound.

Supersprint on my RS 5 had a real high pitched sound

When vagtech fit it they commented it sounded like a fezza V8

TBH I've never been bothered by Ferrari's and the only one worth looking at, the F40 doesn't sound like the other N/A V8's they do so yes, I am discounting them!

...and that's why he said "obviously". Flat-plane cranks don't sound like thunder, they howl, like a howler monkey... that's just stubbed his big toe... inside a shipping container... full of Basset hounds... during a full-moon.

It's pretty unusual to see a car on the rolling road not during a tuning run.

It's got me thinking, I wonder what our exhausts sound like when chucked onto the rolling road and raced up the gears the same as in the video.

Would anyone be interested in getting together at a rolling road venue, with a decent sound and video set up and doing that?

Would be good to get a mixed bag of exhausts so we could help guys pick what sound they prefer most with a single video compilation.

By the looks of things, this never got anywhere?

Bearing in mind I have the non sports 'stock' system & would be keen to hear others, as I'm thinking that some time in the future (probably just before June next year ) I will change it to something else. So if people are interested, I'm in.
