Too right.
No matter where you go, there you are.

Baiting was right

Baiting above one's weight is an odd term. So, tell us about the AE86 idiot...

Absolutely bloody fantastic review/comments there adsgreen, many many thanks. Extremely helpful, and just shows how great forums can be! Thanks too Ian for the comments.
I don't think I'll follow up on the silver one now, sounds a little rough, and probably just confirmed my suspicions on it due to the price (hence this thread). No real great surprise that a cheap car at a dealer isn't a particularly good one. Bit shocked at some of the panel gaps mentioned (on both cars).
Crap paintwork seems to be common. I saw some v poor paintwork on one at Bedford Audi a few weeks ago.

The ironic thing is that its hell of a lot easier to fix a stone chip before its been messed about with.
Always got to consider the mileage - 80k is a fair way so there will be chips here and there.
Even at 50k it'll be far from perfect.
Never been to Portsmouth audi before - looks pretty good. Looked like Car dealer central though! Poor BMW sales person going on a test drive with customer in convertible m3. Bucketful of non res miltek is all I have to say on that

I must say, if I was looking for a RS4 I would be looking for a Form member car as most are very nicely looked after.
The dealer just ask for top money, but not always the best. You can normally tell when a car has been looked after straight away, I have bought expensive cars private, just get them checked out before handing over the money.
