I had a RS04 plate on my car for about a year, but felt a bit silly with it on so sold it.
Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a well sorted racecar

Had my plate for 29 years now, its been on nearly every car i have ever owned.
At least this way i can remember it when stopped by the long arm of the law

I have a private plate that makes mine look older (54 plate on an 07 car). Doesn't bother me if it looks older. Those who know the RS4 wasnt made in 2004 know it's and older plate, the rest who cares. It spells out my first initial then my surname so I have the space after the first letter rather than after the numbers.

Whoever is selling the one you want.
Try looking at the government website and searching for the plate you want:

That's where I got mine from. £250 all in. I did originally start looking for one with S4 in it but then decided to go more personal so could transfer to another car afterwards. Managed to find one which is as close as possible to my first two initials and my surname shortened. It is T 7 FNK and mine name is T J Finck. Can't grumble with that.
Current car: 2007 BMW 530d touring.
Previous car: 2005 S4 B7.

The Mrs got me mine for my 30th, not a RS related plate (I had an ST at the time) so good to go on any car. Not that I plan getting rid of the RS4 anytime soon.

I had rs04 dar , cost £330 , a lot for 2 bits of plastic but cheap compared to a lot of proper personal plates which can go for thousands, if it looks great on your car and you like it then why not .

Being advertised by a couple of reg places for 5500 I think.
May just be them taking a punt and then they call the owner with an offer I guess.

That plate is worth no more than £400 its just a plate made up by the owner and he is disillusioned thinking its worth $$$$$$$s, he must be Glaswegian wanting to be part of the show queens.
